The Park & Recreation Commission recommends and reviews policies, rules, regulations, ordinances and budgets relating to parks and playgrounds of the City. The West Branch Parks and Recreation Commission’s mission is to enrich the lives of the residents of West Branch by providing safe, welcoming parks and recreation facilities and affordable, diverse recreation and human service activities for people of all ages to play, learn, contemplate, build community and be good citizens of our environment. Three-year terms are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
Commission meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 P.M. in council chambers at 110 N. Poplar Street.
