Heritage Square is located at the intersection of Main St and Downey, the original square of West Branch. While moved from the middle of the roadway, the original gazebo still rests to the south in a small park area.
The small park now exists as a small green space commemorating the history of West Branch’s downtown. Located at the intersection of the national park and the historic downtown, it’s a great place to enjoy the outdoors and enjoy an afternoon picnic or rest a while between park visits and shopping. Stop by on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. May through October for the Farmer’s Market.
