General Information

The West Branch City Office is located at 110 North Poplar Street. Phone: 319-643-5888 & Fax: 319-643-2305. Hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The City Administrator, Deputy City Clerk & Administrative Assistant are located at the West Branch City Office.

At City Office you can:

• Sign up for new water service and pay your water bill
• Obtain recycling containers and purchase garbage stickers
• Get zoning information and apply for building and sign permits
• Apply for a burning permit or obtain a solicitor's/peddler's permit
• Reserve Town Hall, Cookson Community Center or Beranek Park Shelter
• Obtain a dog or cat license (renewable each year by Jan. 31)
• Purchase cemetery burial plots
• Pay parking tickets
