New City Water Tower Goes Up
The City's new 300,000 gallon water tower is located south of Interstate 80 in the industrial park area. Painting of the tower is sheduled for summer 2007. The white, red and black painting scheme will also feature a bear paw, a nod to the West Branch Community School District. Once online, this additional tower will give the City increased fire protection and a two-day reserve of drinking water. This tower completes a two-year, $2.4 million water project.
